Second Sands Macao Fashion Week launches at the Venetian Colonnade
Sands Resorts Macao launched its second Sands Macao Fashion Week on a cool and temperate October 18 night with a gala event featuring the Emporio Armani autumn/winter 2018 collection trunk show. VIP guests, media and industry influencers graced The Venetian Colonnade where the main lobby is located at The Venetian Macao.
Emporio Armani, in collaboration with Rainbow Group, presented a heart-stopping show featuring looks from the label’s ready-to-wear collections where guests were able to buy what they could see in Sands Shoppes.
Clean lines and flattering silhouettes dominated the catwalk. Highlights included a pop of forest green across boots, handbags and clothing, while synthetic furs and feathers added texture and buoyancy.
Furs and feathers were popular accessories at the show
Leading the runway were celebrity models Liee, Hao (Hao Yunxiang), Lina Zhang and Zhang Huijun. The event attracted actor Zheng Kai, actress Karlina Zhang, actor and singer Jiro Wang, and actress and singer Qi Wei.

Taking place in the Shoppes at Venetian’s Grand Canal which was converted into a runway called ‘Walk on Water’, Lopes launched his intimate yet powerful underwear line for men, matched with enticing and glamorous gold sequinned shirts which trumpeted the message that intimacy can also be playful.
The rest of the week was filled with a parade of shows at Shoppes at Venetian on a purpose-built catwalk on The Venetian Macao’s canals, alongside Boutique Shows at Shoppes at Parisian. Notable labels included Calvin Klein, Evisu, D’urban, Gieves & Hawkes, MLB, Hardy Hardy, Landi and Jorya.

We have again presented a series of thrilling shows, parades and exhibitions featuring some of the world’s biggest brands, alongside stars of the local fashion industry, highlighted by the launch of the Emporio Armani collection.”
