Wine Spectator magazine showers Sands China's Macao eateries with honours

Eleven of Sands’ signature restaurants in Macao have received awards for their wine programmes. The prestigious US-based Wine Spectator magazine recognized the restaurants with its “Two Glasses” Best of Award of Excellence commendation.

Golden Court and Copa Steakhouse at Sands Macao; Portofino, North, Canton at The Venetian Macao; Brasserie and Lotus Palace at The Parisian Macao; Dynasty 8 at Conrad Macao, Cotai Central; and Zi Yat Heen at Four Seasons Hotel Macao all won the magazine’s “Two Glasses” award.

Additionally, Morton’s at The Venetian Macao received a “One Glass” Award of Excellence, while Copa added a second glass to the single glass acknowledgement it achieved in 2016.

It’s the sixth year in a row that Wine Spectator has awarded Sands China restaurants. The magazine’s award hierarchy has three levels: the Award of Excellence, the Best of Award of Excellence, and the Grand Award.

Sands China’s vice president of food and beverage Philip Chong said, “We are honoured and delighted that so many of our great restaurants have been recognised by Wine Spectator, the world’s leading wine authority. We are committed to offering the complete fine dining experience to our customers and these prestigious awards are one of the best indicators that we are succeeding in this.”
